Sucre and Potosi



Visit the white city, Sucre the capital of Bolivia, with their colonial streets, white houses, and a lot of history, Sucre will give you the welcome to the nice and relaxing experience to know more about the origins of the Bolivia as a country.















 Visit the different churches such as the Recoleta, San Lazaro, Santo Domingo, one also can visit the University Museum, the singular and quite Cemetery and the Casa Capellanica wher one can see the textiles of the surrounding towns of Tarabuco, Potolo, and others.

A little bit outside of Sucre one can visit the dinosaur Tracks of kal Orko with more than 100 dinosaur tracks that are about 65 to 70 million old, this is  the world’s largest site of dinosaur tracks,  It stretches 1.5 kilometers in length and it’s 150 meters tall. 

 


Tarabuco with the artisan market where you will witness the authentic customs and traditions of the local people. This is a nice experience to know Bolivian culture.


Potosi, the mineral capital of Bolivia, located at 4.070 meters above the sea level. This legendary colonial city that was the most populated city in the world around the 1650 (with more than 160,000 inhabitants), more residents than London, Paris, Madrid and other important European cities in that time. 
In this city you can visit the Cerro Rico de Potosí a magnificent mountain that in their times was a great source of silver and the people say that one could build a bridge between Bolivia and Europe with all the mineral that was extracted from the Cerro Rico de Potosi.
Casa de la Moneda. built in 1753. With a impressive museum that shows the history of the country, the city, colonial and republican paintings, indigenous textiles, typical costumes exhibitions. This is one of the most important repositories of the colonial mining extractions.
